LSS OF THE DAY: "ALE" BY THE BLOOMFIELDS

It's actually pretty cute. And the video's not bad either. One of the band members looks a lot like one of my classmates. Freaky

To Ninong Hans: Thank you for leaving a comment. And I will tell Dad that. Keep on reading and don't forget to leave me messages!

I forgot to mention a few things last night since a lot of stuff have been bugging me for a few days now.

Jethro, one of my former schoolmates from Dominican and is now studying in UST, accompanied me to my dorm last Wednesday because I got so scared that somebody might snatch my bag or threaten to kill me or something. Walking in Dapitan is no joke; you CANNOT walk by yourself especially at night and my schedule every Tuesdays and Thursdays is 1-7. So I really got to find a walking buddy. I asked some of my friends and he was the only one who answered. So, he accompanied me to my dorm and he even offered to do it again the next day. Needless to say, I sighed with relief when he told me that. But to my dismay, he didn't make it on Thursday. His excuse was that he was in the field (which is like, on the other side of UST) with his friends doing their homework. I waited for at least half an hour for him to say that he was on his way but he didn't. Luckily for me, Rolando, Kim, Shane and Stacey were right in front of the library when the spotted me standing on one side of the building. We got to talking and Stacey even tried to call Jethro just so he would go to where we were but he waqsn't answering his phone. After awhile, I gave up and just went to the dorm alone. And guess what? He just texted me this afternoon saying that he'll make up for what he did next time. And I said to myself, "You had to wait for two days to tell me this?". Geez Note to self: Find someone else and NEVER ask him again. Unless of course, I got no one else to ask.

So anyway, I don't like our History professor very much. She talks to us as if we're three years old! She gets to me everytime she talks!. I miss Professor Dalangin

I went to Domincan this morning because I wanted to talk to Sister Althea. I laughed so hard when she told me this story about one of her students crying in front of her. I'd rather not get into the details because a lot of you people know him. I really missed Sister. I wsih that we had more time to talk.

I'm off to Manila again tomorrow! Our NSTP orientation got cancelled last week so it'll be tomorrow instead.

Keep on hopping by and leave messages on my tagboard please

'Til next time y'all!

LSS OF THE DAY: "PLEASE REMEMBER ME" BY TIM MCGRAW

The song's supposedly saying that even if your ex-lover found a new person to love, they should still think about each other. If that's the case, why bother?

It's been awhile since my last post, I thank the people who demand to know what's going on with me and I also thank the people who have been dropping yb my blog and checking if there are any new updates. Goes to show that they're actually interested to what I have to say. So, once again, I thank you all

I'm sure that its safe to say that we all had a very interesting week. If I forget to mention anything, I apologize in advance. My brain's too full of information and its taking awhile for some things to sink in.

Our professor in Philosophy claims to be better than Professor Doctor Co, and if I may, I beg to differ. Professor Doctor Co is the best philosopher in the whole university and he can never beat the Venerable Master's vast knowledge; he is the best of the best. Strict, sure, but he's a bloody genius. Although I have the highest respect for Professor Reyes, I still say that Professor Doctor Co is the best of the two of them.

It feels so good to laugh. Last Monday, me and my friends went to the carpark to have lunch and Iris' old schoolmate, Simon, joined us. Sarah had to accompany Mau to get his P.E. uniform so they took awhile to join us. We were laughing and laughing and laughing! I wish I could say here everythnig that we talked about but our diginites are on the line

First quiz in Natural Science, it was okay. First quiz in Finance, it was okay, too.

I saw Kuya J.C. three times this week. I'm counting, yes and I'm pathetic but I can't help it!. And everytime we run into each other he always says hi to me or he flashes that dazzling smile of his. I think I'm falling for him all over again. And I thought that I forgot about him already.

Don't give me that look

Congratulations to Hazel and Pon. I am very happy for the both of you. Good luck!

Wish I could say more but I'll continue some other time. I'm in Dagupan right now. It was my brother's birthday yesterday and I wasn't able to celebrate with them. But I don't think I'll be able to celebrate anyway because he's sick. Poor baby

Bye y'all!

LSS OF THE DAY: "THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES" BY FALL OUT BOY

I first heard it when we were in Meg's house. Now I can't stop listening to it on Tony

I have just been tagged by
Quincy.

“In The Spotlight"

What makes your blog unique?
- I dunoo. You tell me

When did you start blogging?
- June 2006

Is this your first meme?
- Nope

What do you hope to accomplish with your blog?
- To let out my feelings. I learned the hard way that its bad to keep your feelings to yourself so now I'm using this a way to say everything I feel.

What are your feelings on the "blog popularity" issue?
- Honestly, I don't give a damn. I'm here to blog. That's it.

What's your favorite childhood memory?
- I guess watching Disney movies and plays. They bring back a lot of good memories 'coz I spent the first few years of my life just watching them. If you met my Dad, he would tell you stories about the impersonations I made of Mickey and Donald

If you were stranded on a deserted island what three things would you want to have with you?
- chocolate
- iPod
- my whole closet

Are you a spiritual person?
- Not really.

What is the weirdest thing that ever happened to you?
- Where do I start?

What is your best quality?
- I'm easy to get along with

What is your worst quality?
- I can be pretty stubborn

I will not tag anyone. Too tired.

I was also tagged by Czian but I already answered it in one of my previous posts. Just look for it

I'm leaving for Manila tomorrow morning. Our NSTP orientation got cancelled.

And I'm still not done with my homework in Rizal. Hay-yay-yay!

I would really love to say more, but maybe some other time.

Gotta run!

LSS OF THE DAY: "WORK IT" BY NELLY FEAT. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE (ACDC REMIX)

This song makes me wanna dance!

I missed my smileys!!!!. Oh I missed you, I missed you, I missed you!!!

Okay, after my last update last Wednesday, a lot of stuff's happened. But where should I begin?

RC (Rizal Course) classes are getting more and more and more interesting. By the way, I sledom admit that classes are interesting so this is probably a first. I didn't know that Jose Rizal had more foreign blood than Filipino blood. And yet, he's our national hero! If you guys wanna know how he was chosen, you gotta be enrolled in that class to find out. But I'm still shy to raise my hand even if we're allowed to speak English (this subject is in Filipino, by the way; my biggest weakness) if we want to recite. Oh well. I know that I have to raise my hand sooner or later.

We finally met our English 102 professor. She's big, she's beefy and she's hella funny! I think I'm gonna like her

I am going to keep my promise to Janel, Iris and Meg:

Fertile Crescent Mesopotamia = -1,000 points

And I still can't get over it! ARRRGGHH

I had a nice talk with Meg this afternoon; our professor in Finance couldn't make it so we sat outside the cold classroom and talked while we ate take-out from Chowking (which is very close to the school. It felt really good to let out a little bit of steam and a little bit of pressure. There are so many things that I'm trying to deny at the moment because I'm still not ready to face them. I feel so confused with all my mixed emotions. I really hope that I can get throught this.

Just when I thought that my day wouldn't get more interesting, it did. While Meg and I were talking, some of our classmates went outside and sat with us. Ella, Jovelle, Ma-an, Riza and Mark Anido sat beside us but they carried their own conversations, only merging now and then. Ma-an had this little round container of this goo that you put on your hair; temporary hair color, I think? And it was color pink, too. I don't know who started it, but the next thing Meg and I knew, Ma-an was putting that sticky stuff on the door handle of our classroom! We were laughing so hard! And everytime somebody touched it, Ma-an would say, "JACKPOT!" and all of us would laugh even harder. And not a single person knew that they had some pink stuff on their fingers. Goes to show that you should never underestimate the smart people.

I cannot believe that they nominated me to be a candidate for MS. BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE. I can't believe that they even THOUGHT of it! Thank goodness for the height requirement. And for once, thank goodness that I got my Mom's genes. If I got my Dad's genes then they would really want me to join.

To my dear classmate, Hazeline Ang, I am so happy for you. You are finally moving on after the loss of your loved one. Maybe now you can love again. You seem really happy when your with him and I really hope that he'll keep it that way. I'm pretty sure that he'll understand if you want him to wait; but I think that he can help you move on faster. I wish you all the best, Hazel. We all love you .

I made this on Gizmoz:

If it's not clear, click this: http://www.gizmoz.com//widget/1006665_lauredilian

My sister discovered it on my Ninong's Multiply. Try it yourself!

I'm in Dagupan, by the way and I am exhausted! I still have homework to do!

Can anybody teach me on how to make my own layout?

We got our first NSTP meeting on Sunday. I wonder what's gonna happen there.

'Out!

LSS OF THE DAY: "SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" PERFROMED BY KELLY CLARKSON

Must I say it again?

I can't do the smileys because I am using the computer in the school library.

Well, I had a very interesting few days. On Monday (June 18) was when I went back to Manila. While I was sitting in the bus, a guy sat beside me. I didn't mind at first, but when he started leaning towards me and his hip started brushing against my hip, I started to get a little irritated. I looked over at his side and I saw that he had plenty of space and yet he was squishing me! I tried my best nt to say anything and I ignored him for a few hours. When we got to the stop-over in Tarlac, he started talking to me. I learned that his name is Ryan Callanta, 24 years old, went to St. John (in Dagupan) from elementary to high school and he graduated from college in Cubao where he took up Tourism. So, we talked and talked. When it was my turn to get off the bus, he offered to accompany me to the dorm since he was also going the same way anyway. I accepted his offer; I thought that it would be rude to refuse. So we waited for 20minutes for a taxi. When we finally hailed a taxi, the driver didn't know where Dapitan was! So I had to rack my brains for the directions because he took a different route that I only took a few times before! Luckily, Kuya Ryan knew the place so we were safe. He's a nice guy. But he keeps on making moves; as in he'll move closer to me and he once put his arm around my back (good thing I didn't take off my bag pack even when we were inside the taxi) and he kept on teasing that maybe we could meet up sometime and I could give him a tour around UST. I just smiled but deep inside I wanted to shout at him. But I was really thankful that he has the night shift in whre he's working; he works from 5 in the afternoon to 3 in the morning. I pointed out to him that our schedules couldn't meet and he looked a tad disappointed but I felt really satisfied. So, he dropped me off at the dorm and he paid for it and he left.

By the way, he's not that good-looking.

And yesterday, was our first day of P.E. It was just an orientation actually. After the boring slide-show about the policies and all that crap, we met with our professor before going to the gym to practice the cheer for the upcoming 70th season of UAAP. This is a big deal for us because we will be hosting the UAAP this year. We're all hoping that since we won last year, we could wim again this year. Hey, dreaming's not a crime, yet. So we practiced for the cheer then we went to Meg's house. We did our homework, ate and watched a few T.V. shows. While Meg was typing her History assignment, I asked her if it was really necessary. She said yes and my heart sank to the floor; I didn't type my assignment. And Iris was supposed to use the computer after her so I told her that I'm gonna use it also. Iris and I took turns in using the PC and we were in a really big hurry. It was quarter to 1 when we left her house and we still had to have our assignments printed. WE got down from the tricycle and looked for the nearest computer shop but they had no bond paper! So we boarded and a jeep going to UST and we decided that we'll just have it printed later in the afternoon. When we got down it was already past 1 and we were so worried that we might be marked absent ao we ran all the way to our building and into our classroom. We were so exhausted! But the moment I put my bag down in my seat, our professor came in. We were so ecstatic that we beat him to the classroom by a few seconds! Whew!

Anyway, that's all for today. My class starts in an hour.

Take care y'all!

LSS OF THE DAY: "SHE'S LEAVING HOME" PERFORMED BY CARRIE UNDERWOOD IN THE AMERICAN IDOL FINALE

I got the video of the Sgt. Pepper Tribute on Tony. And I watch it every day. Sorry guys, I'm not gonna stop it.

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, BIRTHDAY TO
FIONA MEGAN DECANO

Hi Ninong Hans!

LOVE YOU, VATTER!

He's not here at the moment but I e-mail him as much as I can. And text, of course.

It's so hot! Now I really can't tell which is hotter; my dorm or Dagupan. At least here in Dagupan I have my own electric fan and I could join my brother and sister in their air-conditioned room. Not like there; don't get me started.

I'm so exhausted. It's amazing what that darn 1-7 class can do to my body; I get headaches a lot, my eyes feel so droopy and my whole body feels like I got drained of every drop of my blood. Oh well. I can't do anything about that anymore. And I have to put up with it for a whole school year; and its just going to get worse.

I'm sleeping over at Mom's house tonight and I'm leaving for Manila tomorrow morning. I'm not sure when I'll be coming back to Dagupan. We'll see.

I'm still not done with my homework

To Denise Hazelyn Maramba: Your very welcome. I'll let you know ASAP if I found them. Hahaha!

I'm out!

LSS OF THE DAY: "JUST LIKE A PILL" BY PINK

Let's get right down to business, people!

First Day of School: Tita Marissa and I left Fairview around past 9 in the morning. Then we dropped her off at the hospital where she was to have her daily exercises for her wrist (she broke it last year; you could still see the difference between her fine hand and her injured hand) and then she had her driver drop me off in front of my dorm.

I quickly got dressed and headed for school. I met up with my friends and we endured four hours of classes; well, just two, because two of our professors didn't show up. Then we had a really late lunch in one of the restos in the carpark. On the way back from there, I ran into Rolando Diaz, aa former schoolmate of mine from Dominican and now, my fellow Thomasian. We sat down and we started talking when Michelle Carag passed us by, then Jethro Dimalanta and Richard Silva. I can't believe that I saw so many of them in just that day! And then Jeseth De Vera joined our conversation after awhile. She was already limping while she was walking past us (apparently she didn't notice that we were there until Rolando called her) because her heel was bleeding really badly because of her shoes. And because of that, she was forced to skip her first P.E. class (it's just orientation anyway); but the thing that really bothered her was the reactios of her Mom and older sister. Her older sister is sort of like a perfectionist; she graduated valedictorian in her high school class and she's a Dean's Lister in her class right now. So she feels pressured to live up to her family's expectations that she'll do as well as her older sister. I feel kinda sorry for her but I know she can do it. We got a little hungry from talking so we went to McDonald's where we also waited for another fellow former Dominican, Stacey Manuel. A lot more taking took place before she arrived so we left McDo around past 6 already. But it was really nice to see them.

I went to the dorm and arranged all my things; because it was so hot I was sweating so badly by the time I was done. I took a nice, cold bath but as soon as I stepped out of the bathroom, I immediately started sweating. And it got worse when I got to my room; I share a room with two other people and we have to share double-deck beds. I met the girl who's sleeping below me (I took the top bunk) and we talked the whole night. Turns out that we almost like the same things; there are too many of them to mention. So, anyway, there was a celing fan and it didn't even reach me! So I borrowed the little elctric fan of our other room mate (who, luckily for me, went home that night so I could use it) and placed it on my bed. But I still sweated the whole night.

Second Day Of School: I recieved news from my brother that Roxy (our puupy) passed away. I got so depressed when I found out; at first I really didn't want to believe it so I asked my sister if it was true. I waited with baited breath for her response. I prayed that it wasn't true; but it was.

Sad to say, all my professors were present. And what was worse, our schedule was 1 in the afternoon to 7 at night. I can't believe how tiring that schedule is! I mean, when we all left the classroom, we all looked so tired and haggard that we looked like zombies! And just when we thought that nothing can top that off, get this; Professor Neurotic-Psychotic is our professor in Industrial Psychology. As if spending one whole semester with her wasn't enough! ARRGH!. Sweated the whole night in the dorm, again.

Third Day Of School: Completely exhausted from lack of sleep, I dragged my feet to school and plopped down in my usual seat and tried to keep my eyes open for four grueling hours. I can't believe we have Finance. Crap.

After class, I went back to the dorm, changed clothes and left for the bus station. I took a taxi because I thought that it would be faster; but the traffic was unbelievable! I had a really nice conversation with the driver of the taxi that I was on; and again, we had a lot of similarities (even though he's already in his fifties). Finally arriving at the bus statin, we left about ten minutes after I got on. I slept through most of the ride. But when we were in Sta. Barbara or Urdaneta, the bus stopped and all the lights and the aircon was turned off. I think they had some complications with the engine or something. So we rode the rest of the way in the dark and in the stiffling heat. I got down in Jollibee Calasiao 'coz that's where Mom was going to meet me. Then we went to Tapuac. Home Sweet Home.

Whew!

I've got a lot of homework to do.

I'm going to Davao on July 21 with my cousins, Maui and Nina

I read one of my friends' blogs just awhile ago and I was really touchedd at what she said. Thank you for defending me and caring for me. I really appreciate it.

I'm going back to Manila early Monday morning.

I got this e-mail from my Tita the other day:

It was the first day of school in Washington, DC and a new student
named Dagohoy, the son of a Filipino immigrant, entered the fourth
grade.

The teacher began, "Let's review some American history, class. Who
said 'Give me liberty or give me death?'"

She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Dagohoy's who had his hand
up,"Patrick Henry, 1775."

"Very good," said the teacher.

"Who said 'Government of the people, by the people, and for the
people, shall not perish from the earth'"?

Again, no response except from Dagohoy: "Abraham Lincoln, Gettysburg ,
1863," he said.

The teacher snaps at the class, "Class, you should be ashamed, Dagohoy
who is new to our country knows more about our history than you do."

She hears a loud whisper from the back: "Screw the Filipinos."

"Who said that?" she demanded.

Dagohoy put his hand up. "General John Pershing, Manila, 1896."

At that point, Jack, another student says, "I'm going to puke."

The teacher glares and asks, "All right! Now who said that?"

Again Dagohoy answers, "George Bush, Sr. to the Japanese Prime
Minister during the state dinner, Tokyo , 1991."

Now furious, another student yells, "Oh yeah? Suck this!!

"Dagohoy jumps out of his chair waving his hand and shouts to the
teacher at the top of his voice, "Bill Clinton to Monica Lewinsky, the
Oval Office, 1997!!"

Someone shouts, "You little shit if you say anything else, I'll kill you."

Dagohoy yells, "Congressman Gary Condit to Chandra Levy, Washington,
D.C., 2001!"

The teacher faints.

"I'm outta here!" mutters one student as he sidles to the door.

"President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Baguio City, December 30, 2002 !!"
Dagohoy responds.

As the class gathers around her on the floor, someone says, "Oh
shit, now we're really in big trouble!"

"Saddam Hussein, on the Iraq invasion, Baghdad, May 2003!" Dagohoy bellowed.

"Now, I really have to run," Jack mutters, heading for the exit.

"Gloria Macapagal Arroyo again, Pampanga, October 4, 2003!!!" Dagohoy
shouts triumphantly jumping with glee.

Then a burly African-American boy grabbed Dagohoy and strangled him,
about to give a fistful to a frightened Dagohoy.

Then an Asian boy stood up and shouted, "Hey easy on him. I'M A FILIPINO!"

Dagohoy then blurted out before he got socked out, "Fernando Poe, Jr.
Manila, January 2004!!!"
